WHAT WE DO
Join us to witness the next generation of football stars shine on the field!
At PDP we service both independent and maintained schools by assisting them with delivering their own sports provisions in connection with their relevant curriculums.
Whether through use of government funded schemes or private resources, schools are now making it a priority to enhance the acumen of students in sporting disciplines as a way of:
Attracting the best sporting talent to those schools and maintaining their well being;
Keeping and nurturing that talent ;
Enhancing the reputation and achievements of that education establishment;
Breakfast Club
This is a popular provision. Normally delivered from 7:45am - 8:50am.
Pupils begin the day with Physical Activity, helping to stimulate them ready for the school day ahead.
After School Club
Our after-school clubs include a wide range of sports all taught by skilled, specialist coaches. Some examples of the after-school clubs we are currently providing in schools are: football, rugby, multi-skills and tennis. We have excellent feedback from all our schools in terms of the skills, professionalism and enthusiasm of our coaches.
Holiday Camps
Runs holiday camps in Chelmsford , Colchester, Ipswich and East Bergholt. We plan and deliver fun packed and energetic days for children during the Christmas , Easter and Summer holidays. We can have up to 50 children attending our camps of all ages, abilities and needs and we ensure the safety and well-being is of the highest standard. Parents return their children to the camps year after year and we have superb feedback after every camp.

Maintained schools
In England primary schools can receive funding through the PE and Sport Premium (PESP) funding package grant administered by the Department for Education and the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (eligible to qualifying primary and secondary school ) students . The PESP package is aimed at improving the quality of physical education and sports provision for pupils. This funding is allocated to primary schools based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6.
Eligibility and Funding Allocation
- Most schools with primary-age pupils are eligible, except for nursery schools, studio schools, university technical colleges, and independent schools. - Schools receive funding based on the number of pupils, with £1,000 per pupil for schools with 16 or fewer eligible pupils, and £16,000 plus £10 per pupil for schools with 17 or more eligible pupils.
Using the Funding
- The funding must be used to make additional and sustainable improvements to the PE, sport, and physical activity offered by the school. - Examples of acceptable uses include: - Hiring sports coaches to provide additional coaching and mentoring for pupils. - Providing extra-curricular sports activities to encourage pupils to engage in physical activity outside of regular school hours.
